Bailieborough Community School’s Shannon Dunne excels at LCA National Conference.

Last Saturday’s attendees at the Leaving Cert Applied National Conference in the Hudson Bay Hotel in Athlone were treated to an inspiring presentation by Shannon Dunne. Shannon fascinated the large gathering of LCA National Administrators, co-ordinators and teachers with her presentation about her LCA experience in Bailieborough Community School. This included her Contemporary Issues Task investigative trip to Haiti. Shannon was highly commended by those present following her inspiring presentation. Other keynote speakers referred to her exemplary leadership qualities, fantastic presentation skills and  that she epitomises the Department of Education’s aspirations of Leaving Cert Applied. Shannon, a daughter of Clive and Lisa Dunne, Bailieborough is currently furthering her education at Cavan Institute.
