Viewing of Leaving Certificate Examination Scripts Facility and Appeals

The SEC facilitates access to examination scripts by Leaving Certificate candidates each year after the issue of the Leaving Certificate results. Two Viewing of Scripts services are available this year:

in person in school for subjects marked on paper
online for subjects marked online

You must apply to view examination scripts through the Candidate Self Service Portal between 5pm on Tuesday 7 September and 8pm on Wednesday 8 September.

Marking schemes used by examiners during the marking process will be available on www.examinations.ie from 12pm on Wednesday 8 September.

Examination Scripts that were marked on paper can be viewed in the school on Saturday 11 September. You will be assigned to one of three sessions:

Session 1	9am – 11am
Session 2	12pm – 2pm
Session 3	3pm – 5pm

Examination Scripts that were marked online will be available from 9am on Saturday 11 September to 12pm on Sunday 12 September. The examination scripts you applied to view will be available throughout this time on the Candidate Self Service Portal. You will be able to view, download and print your scripts at home.

You can apply to appeal your provisional Leaving Certificate results through the Candidate Self Service Portal from: 9am on Saturday 11 September to 12pm on Monday 13 September.
