Wellfest kicks off in BCS

Wellfest Week got off to a flying start today, Monday, with the official launch at 10.30am with the help of Niamh Smyth TD, Sean McKiernan, chairperson of Cavan/Monaghan ETB and Audrey Rogers, secretary of Bailieborough Mental Health Association. The cyclothon began at 9am with our 6th and 3rd year students signing up for a 30 minute cycle in support of The Cycle against Suicide campaign. Our 2nd Year students thoroughly enjoyed a very high tech interactive table quiz which focused on positive mental health, sports and wellbeing. Well done to Ms Mc Namee and her team on organising the quiz event. Winners will be announced on Thursday afternoon.
